Serving Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas, we help novice and struggling business owners become confident and capable managers of their own operations by equipping them with the skills and support services they need to increase their revenues, profits and quality of life.

Professional Support

We provide networking events, workshops and our unique Founder’s Forum to help novice business owners develop the expertise they need to make a business run smoothly and profitably. Founder's Forum

The Founder’s Forum consists of three separate programs designed to help businesses at different levels perform as efficiently and profitably as possible while respecting the personal needs of the business owner.

Each program consists of weekly meetings in which you and up to three other non-competing peers receive hands-on management and marketing training here at Freedom Cafe. One hour is generally devoted to a management meeting with two additional hours per week spent in lab time.

These are not consulting sessions. These are training sessions in which you learn how to become a better manager of your own business. You will be guided by an industry expert in the management meeting and get hands-on assistance during lab times from staff professionals to help get your action items done correctly and on time.
All Founder’s Forum programs are custom designed for each participant. We will not give you generic templates or instructions to follow. We learn about your business, identify its strengths and weaknesses, then we help you build the foundation, processes, confidence and enthusiasm to make your business work for you.


1-Month Term



An intensive 1-month program custom designed to establish a solid foundation for new businesses or for existing businesses that are struggling and would benefit from a reboot. Three hours/week including two hours of supervised lab time in which our in-house professionals work with you on your action items.


3-Month Term


$400+HST per month

A 3-month program designed for existing businesses seeking to improve their operations in order to increase revenues, profits and quality of life. Three hours / week including supervised lab time in which our in-house professionals work with you on your action items.


6-Month Term


$800+HST per month

A comprehensive 6-month program to turn your idea or novice business into a successful, revenue generating operation.

Come and work in a relaxed and productive environment. See clients or conduct interviews in one of our private meeting rooms. All our workspaces are well equipped and can be configured to suit your needs. For seminars, workshops and larger gatherings, we have an event space that can accommodate up to 50 guests – we’ll even help you with bookings and promotion!

  • *Booking made outside of regular business hours must be a minimum of 2hrs. A 25% non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your booking.

Freedom Cafe is conveniently located in Kitchener near HWY 7/8 and the Conestoga Parkway, and just minutes from the 401. We've got restaurants and UPS across the street, with many other services near by.
